Rashmi Gore — Founder & Director of Art n Easel
Hi, I am Rashmi the Founder & Director of Art n Easel – established 2016. I am a professional Artist, Architect, Art & Yoga teacher as well as a Reiki healer. I have an experience of more than 25 yrs in the field of art & teaching. I like to experiment, upcycle, integrate and create Fusion works using my knowledge of indigenous art forms with contemporary subjects & mediums using water colours, acrylic, oil & mixed media. (I have learnt indigenous art forms of Gond, Warli, Madhubani, Phad, Lippan art from National award-winning indigenous artists from India). I have executed several art commissions, have illustrated books, worked on several projects with the council & local libraries, done international art collaboration, & am an avid urban sketcher.

Our Mission
Art is everywhere. It is in your food, your clothes, your furniture, in your home, in music & in nature. At Art n Easel, our focus extends beyond teaching techniques, styles, or mediums.
We are dedicated to nurturing the ability to perceive art and empowering individuals to authentically express themselves through the captivating language of creativity.
Our Philosophy
Our heart’s role is to understand emotions & and convey them with the help of the mind, this synchronization flows through your hand in the form of art. We help students hone this synchronicity through training and practice. Together, we navigate any blocks, fostering an environment where emotions can freely flow onto the canvas.
Rashmi Gore says, “If you can write then you are an artist. Writing is nothing but learning to work with shapes and lines, essentially shaping thoughts and emotions with letters. Art is an extension of this, incorporating colors, textures, and light alongside shapes. Art is a state of being. It’s being present in that moment completely focused and immersed in the process of creating. There are no secrets, as a teacher I give it all and generously share all that I hold as an artist, and that same principle applies to anyone who teaches here.“
Our Portfolio
We run regular Term classes at our Studio in Mount Waverley. Here we teach art to diverse age groups through different mediums like Graphite & Charcoal Sketching, watercolours, gouache, Acrylic paint, Oil paint, Pastels, etc.
We explore contemporary art as well as Indian Indigenous & traditional art styles (Warli, Madhubani, Gond, Lippan etc) & various other popular Artist Styles & indigenous art from around the world.
Various forms of art like Landscape, Still life, Portraiture, Urban / Outdoor sketching, Pop art, Doodle art, Abstract art etc are taught.
An annual art exhibition of our student’s work along with artist Rashmi Gore’s work is held at a professional art Gallery.
